A baseline for participation would be a good internet connection and for those participating in breakouts and private meetings or roundtables, a camera and microphone.

Some of your meetings may take place on Zoom. To ensure a smooth attendee experience, we suggest that you download the software in advance here. For new Zoom users, here is a quick start guide to help you get acquainted with the software.

We will have a dedicated tech team on hand to help troubleshoot any issues.

You can access all main stage sessions, as well as any breakout sessions  to which you pre-selected, in your personal agenda. To join a session, go to your personal agenda and click on “View Session” next to the session you would like to attend. Please note that you will only have access to the sessions listed in your personal agenda.

All session times listed in the agenda are in Eastern Time Zone (EDT).

MAIN STAGE: Only presenters will be allowed on camera during main stage sessions.

PRIVATE BREAKOUTS: In order to participate in these private sessions, it is mandatory to have a good connection with a live video feed and microphone enabled.

ATTENDEE LIST: All registered attendees will have access to the attendee list via their login. To access the attendee list, log into the event platform, click on “Networking” in the navigation bar and select “Registered Participants.”

1:1 MEETINGS: The platform offers all attendees the opportunity to set up one-on-one meetings. To request a meeting, click on “Networking” in the navigation bar and select “1:1 Meetings”. Select the delegate you would like to connect with and click “Request Meeting”. You will be able to customize your meeting request and select a date and time for the meeting. The event platform will generate a secure virtual room for the meeting once the meeting has been accepted or you can insert your own meeting link. 

To view your meetings, including accepted meetings and pending meeting requests, select “My Schedule” from the “Networking” dropdown menu in the navigation bar. All meetings will appear in your personal schedule, along with main stage sessions and any breakout sessions for which you pre-selected during registration.

The event platform does not disclose any contact details, such as email address or phone number. For this reason, we suggest that you exchange details to extend the connections you make this week past the duration of the event, as the networking functionality will only be available during LAVCA Week.
