André Maciel is founder of Volpe Capital. Previously, he was a Managing Investment Partner at SoftBank Latin America, co-founder of 30 Knots Capital and Managing Director of J.P. Morgan, where he spent nearly 17 years, approximately 7 of which in New York, becoming one the youngest managing directors in his class. A technology enthusiast, through J.P. Morgan he has sponsored different technology conferences in Latin America and has been a speaker in many of them. The executive has advised in some of the largest transactions ever in Argentina, Brazil, Central America and Mexico, including landmark transactions such as MercadoLibre’s 2007 IPO. He is currently a Board Member at Banco Inter and mentor at Endeavor. Graduated in Business Administration from EAESP / FGV, André started his career at J.P. Morgan Partners, the bank's private equity arm which invested in companies such as MercadoLibre and Americanas.com.
