Martin Florea is a former competitive tennis player. After graduating with distinction from the University of Cambridge (UK), Martin started his career as an Investment Professional at Cevian Capital, the largest European Activist Hedge Fund. Thereafter, he joined Hellman & Friedman, a world-leading Private Equity Fund with around USD 80bn of AUM, where he worked on a number of investments and also served on the board of Nets, a distinguished fintech company that was ultimately sold for around USD 10bn. Aside from his investing career, Martin also founded a number of companies in the digital & e-commerce space before founding VALOREO.
