Co-lead of IDB Lab's Fund of Fund's initiative, Anita has twenty years of experience in DFIs. She started her career at BNDES, where he worked for the development of the microfinance market in Brazil. Later she worked as an officer at Development Alternatives Inc., at IFC, and at the World Bank, always leading projects focused on private sector development and innovation. At IDB Lab she is supervising several venture capital funds and direct loans in Brazil, Chile, Central America, and the Caribbean that focus on diversity and/or climate finance (green techs). Anita has a Master's in Finance from Johns Hopkins University, a Master's in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, and a BA in Economics from UFRJ.
