Federico is a pioneer in the Venture Capital industry in Mexico. In 2012 he founded Antoni Lelo de Larrea Venture Partners (ALLVP), the first institutional fund for early stage venture capital raising. As Co-Founder of ALLVP, Federico has successfully raised three funds focused on early stage investments, Seed Series, Series A and Series B. Throughout his career ALLVP has invested in over 25 companies within four key sectors: FinTech, Consumer Internet, Healthcare and Smart Cities, which include such high potential companies as Cornershop, Enlight, a leading provider of solar energy services for residential and commercial customers and Weex, a mobile virtual network and wallet operator, which is revolutionizing the mobile telecommunications industry.
Under his various positions at Edoardos, a Mexican public retail company; B2W (formerly Submarino), Brazil's leading e-commerce platform; Televisa, the world's largest Spanish-speaking company; and L'Oreal, he has generated extensive experience in marketing, brand creation and development, retail, e-commerce and scaling operations at the international level, generating great added value to the start-ups in which he participates.
Federico holds a Bachelor and Master's degree in Applied Economics from Paris Dauphine, as well as an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he is also a professor of Entrepreneurship and Management.
